Carlos Valdes is the Colombian actor, best known for his role as Cisco Ramon/Vibe in CW’s smash-hit TV series, the Flash. As part of the wider ‘Arrowverse’, he has also been associated with other big DC productions.

When Carlos was just 5, he migrated to Miami. 7 years later, he relocated to Georgia. When he was of age, he took up studies with the University of Michigan. Alongside other actors in the theater group, StarKid Productions, Valdes co-wrote a 2009 show called, Me and My Dick.

Valdes graduated in 2011, and by then was completely consumed by the theatre. He had already appeared in stage productions like The Wedding Singer and High School Musical. He was also a stand-in for the Jersey Boys’ national tour.

By 2013, Carlos had secured a part in the musical Once, where he played the character, Andrej. Throughout the show, Carlos showcased his astonishing musical talents, by playing the piano, the guitar, the ukulele, the bass and plenty of percussion. ‘Once’ was nominated for a Tony Award in 2013.

The following year, Carlos earned his first big break, with a debut TV appearance in CW’s Arrow. From here, he was offered a recurring part in the spin-off series, The Flash. In this, Carlos played Francisco “Cisco” Ramón/Vibe, the engineering mastermind.
A relatively new talent on the block, Carlos Valdes’ career is set for great things.
