Australian actor and teen heartthrob Jacob Elordi made his acting debut aged 18, starring in the 2015 short film Carpe Liam before going on to write and star in his own short, Max & Isofesa. Tracing a few days in the lives of rich-kid runaway Max and street kid Isofesa, the film was lauded by critics, with Elordi’s impressive performance leading to parts in 2018 dramatic comedy Swinging Safari and Netflix movie The Kissing Booth, starring alongside fellow rising star Joel Courtney.
