Lucie Jones

Biography

Lucie Jones is a singer with an impressive pedigree – her vocal training was with the same person who trained vocal superstar and pop queen Charlotte Church back in the day, Louise Ryan. Jones first hit the public eye when she competed on the 2006 edition of The X Factor.
Jones was knocked out of the competition by Irish novelty act Jedward after making it to the live shows and surviving for five weeks. Since her appearance she hasn’t faded away but has had an impressive career on the West End; Lucie has played Victoria in American Psycho, Cosette in
Les Miserables and toured the world as a cast member in Ghost The Musical.
She’s also had a successful career as an underwear model, working for prestigious agency Select Model Management and releasing her own range of lingerie in 2013.
In 2017 Jones competed to become the UK’s entry to the Eurovision Song Contest, trying to win over the Great British public with a ballad called Never Give Up On You. While the public will have a say in the vote, for the first time professional judges will also shoulder some of the responsibility of picking an entry. Interesting, all of the shortlisted acts had been on The X Factor at one time or another.
Lucie is a great talent as demonstrated by her roles in some of the West End’s biggest musicals, and a performance by her is sure to knock your guests’ socks off.
