California-born actor Charlie Carver is best known for his portrayal of Porter Scavo in ABC’s hit television series Desperate Housewives. Carver has also played Ethan on MTV’s horror drama Teen Wolf and Scott Frost in fantasy TV series The Leftovers, acting alongside his twin brother Max Carver.

Growing up in Napa Valley, Charlie Carver graduated from the University of Southern California in 2012, furthering his studies at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. The Carver brothers, handpicked by Marc Cherry to play the Scavo Twins in Desperate Housewives have seen a widely growing appeal since their incarnations as werewolf twins Ethan and Aiden in Teen Wolf.

Carver has also appeared as Michael Smith on the ABC docudrama miniseries When We Rise, a series that follows the growing LGBTQ rights movement from the Stonewall Uprising in 1969. More recently, he has acted in Casey Mott’s 2017 incarnation of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, In the Cloud alongside Gabriel Byrne and Daniel Portman and Fist Fight starring Ice Cube, Charlie Day and Tracy Morgan.

2019 saw Charlie Carver star in Netflix television drama Ratched, a new drama based on Ken Kesey’s hit novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
