Talented and professional chef Ed Baines is most well known for being a judge on the ITV show Britain’s Best Dish. As well as this he is also an occasional alternative chef on Sunday Feast with Paul Merrett and got much of his training whilst working at Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall’s famous The River Café in London. Currently his flagship restaurant is Randall & Aubin, also in London, and he continues to be a popular on UK TV. He has been on many shows before now including the likes of his first TV Series Lunch with Ed Baines, which went out on the Carlton Food Network and saw him cooking lunch and eating with a selection of his famous celebrity friends at Randall & Aubin.
Before that, back in 1999, Ed was the front man for a six part television series on ITV that was called Ed Baines Entertains. Also filmed at his own London restaurant, it went on to be commissioned for two more series in ensuing years and he has also be one of the chefs on another show, Housecall. In his time, Ed has worked and trained at The Dorchester, Bibendum and the River Café and, aged just 25, opened Daphne’s in South Kensington. As such, there is little Ed does know about food, cooking, and working in front of TV cameras. He is a great guest for any TV show, cooking event or conference and has plenty of insight and experience to share.
