The career of British-born Chinese actor, model, stuntman, and martial artist Lewis Tan has been skyrocketing since he entered the entertainment industry. In 2018, he appeared as the character Shatterstar in the worldwide phenomenon and now second highest-grossing R-rated film of all time, Deadpool 2, and took on the role of recurring character Gaius Chau in the post-apocalyptic drama series, ‘Into the Badlands.’ This year he made his debut in the Netflix series Wu Assassin as Lu Xin Lee, the cunning leader of a car-theft ring, while appearing as the villainous Zhou Cheng in another Netflix production, Marvel’s Iron Fist.
No stranger to box-office hits, Tan has previously lent his stunt-work abilities to productions like Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and The Hangover Part III. He’s also appeared in the drama-thriller Sacrifice as Ben Kittman, as Chen in the Rush Hour TV series, and Jiro Farnwell in 10,000 Days, before picking up minor roles in CSI: NY, NCIS: Los Angeles, Den of Thieves, and Hawaii Five-0.
Equally adept in the martial and performing arts, Tan is a professional stuntman with an impressive dramatic flair. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Ji, a short film that the actor recently produced.
