Born April 15th, 1978 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Luis Alfonso Rodriguez Lopez-Cepero better known by his stage name Luis Fonsi is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, recording artist, and actor, that is currently signed to Universal Music Latin Entertainment. He specializes in the musical genres of pop, Latin pop, and pop rock, while he accompanies his one of a kind vocals on the piano and guitar. Fonsi has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers over the years including over 13 million followers on his Facebook page, over 8 million followers on his Twitter account, and over 3 million followers on his Instagram account. His music videos have tallied an astounding amount of views online, such as his video for the hit song “Despacito” ft. Daddy Yankee which has individually surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube.
