Biography

Founded in 1976, Foreigner’s debut album produced hits such as Feels Like The First Time, Cold As Ice, and Long, Long Way From Home. The follow-up album, Double Vision, brought a string of hits like Urgent, Juke Box Hero, and Waiting For A Girl Like You. These songs helped make their next album, 4, a chart-topping success, reaching #1 on the Billboard chart. At the height of the 80s sound, Foreigner’s fifth album, Agent Provocateur, delivered the iconic #1 global hit I Want To Know What Love Is, following the record-breaking success of Waiting For A Girl Like You.

The frenetic journey of the original Foreigner line-up came to an end in 2002. However, with strong support and encouragement, Mick Jones assembled a new powerhouse line-up, the core of which remains unchanged over ten years later. Led by Mick Jones and the extraordinary Kelly Hansen on vocals, the band made a remarkable comeback, creating music that resonates with both long-time Foreigner fans and newer generations.
