Peter Baker

Biography

English professional golfer Peter Baker was a great success during the 1980s and in 2006 was one of Ian Woosnam’s vice-captains at the Ryder Cup. Now a great guest speaker able to inspire a range of audiences, Peter is still winning on the golf course and in 2009 won the Credit Suisse Challenge. Other accolades include winning the Brabazon Trophy and the Open AGF-Allianz Côtes d’Armor Bretagne. Peter has also been a consistent performer on the European Tour from the late 80s until the new millennium and his one Ryder Cup appearance for Europe came in the losing 1993 team. Peter also represented England in the World Cup in 1999.
Peter is now available for golf days as well as a range of speaking duties from after dinner speaking to motivational speeches aimed at young sportsmen or experienced business people alike. An eloquent and informed speaker, Peter is a great host who can impart plenty of wisdom and knowledge on his audience and in turn they will learn some tricks of the trade from a successful professional.
