In 2001, Brian Dowling won one of Britain’s biggest reality TV shows, Big Brother. Ever since, Brian’s career in television has flourished as one of the UK’s most beloved celebrity personalities.
Brian is also an experienced radio and TV presenter, who is happy fronting both live and pre-recorded shows. For nearly two years, he fronted the BAFTA Award winning SMTV Live, before going on to helm Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother for three years after its move to Channel 5.
Brian has also hosted The National Soap Awards, Sitting On A Fortune, Real Housewives of Cheshire, The Big Fat Breakfast Show and The National Television Awards After Show Party. He is a regular face on This Morning and presented 3 series of the hugely successful Irish series, Wagon’s Den. Other presenting credits include Live From Studio Five, Celebrity Extra, The Mint, I’m Famous & Frightened Extra, Trolley Dollies, Christmas Wrapped Up and Cirque De Celebrité: Backstage.
In more recent memory, Brian has lent his voice to narrate popular TV and radio programmes for broadcasters like the BBC and Channel 4. He regularly presents and works for corporate companies including The Clothes Show Live, Top Shop, Britannia Airways, Vodafone, Glamour Magazine and has been the voice on numerous TV adverts. He has also hosted many prestigious events, including the Variety Club Showbusiness Awards, Elle Style Awards and the First Light Film Awards.
