Business Overview:

CATU delivers innovative training solutions to the community and voluntary advice sector.  We create practical, cost effective training solutions that aim to improve the quality of legal advice delivered throughout the UK. In addition to our in-house training capabilities, CATU leverage two key technologies; an online training-needs-analysis software called INFORM and Learning Republic, and online learning environment.

INFORM is a user friendly online system which gives the trainee the opportunity to identify and register their specific learning needs as and when they arise.  INFORM will measure the frequency with which skill requirements arise and identify ‘gaps’ in skills, knowledge and experience. INFORM will then match these needs with training that matches the trainee’s exact requirements, so that organizations need only pay for training that they have a real, identified need for.

Learning Republic, represents a convenient and low cost training solution.  Learning Republic courses exist online and with no time or location constraints, offer employers and trainees a flexible training solution.  Learning Republic courses relieve the strain on an organisation’s resource which may occur when staff members are out of the office attending a training course.  Since these courses exist online they are cost effective – giving no rise to travel costs, catering costs, room hire or the price for a training professional to be present.
